Its hard to express just how excited we were to join these two at their wedding last October. Vinny and Kim are two of the most incredibly genuine, warm, kind and happy humans we have ever been fortunate to work with. Working alongside them both at their wedding was a dream and we can honestly say that we have found two friends for life in them both.
Vinny + Kim were married on a perfectly overcast Vancouver day last October. The light was perfect and though the clouds looked as if they could open with rain at any moment, we were blessed with a dry afternoon (a little cold, but you won’t hear us complain). The grey skies perfectly complimented the urban Vancouver skyline and their Grade A wedding party style.
V + K’s day begin at Vancouver’s Terminal City Club where we were fortunate to spend some time with the ladies during the morning hours. After some time getting ready we made our way to the balcony for their incredibly special first look. We always encourage a first look because the genuine reaction between the couple in a private setting truly is like none other. After sometime with one another on the balcony, we made our way to a nearby parking garage for some roof top bridal portraits overlooking the city. Without question the backdrop of the Seymour building is one of our new favourite locations in the city. Without question their bridal party portraits were some of our favourite from the entire season because the opportunity step away from the busy crowds and capture some truly spectacular moments overlooking one of Vancouver’s most unique looking buildings was the perfect combination. With a little time left in the schedule for some remaining portraits, we left the parking garage and made our way to the doors of Vancouver’s Marine building before returning to the Terminal City Club for most important task of the day, saying ‘I do’ before their friends and family.
Family photos and of course a tea ceremony followed the ceremony and took us into the amazing reception complete with incredible speeches, amazing dancing and incredible laughter from start to finish.
Vinny + Kim, we thank you 100x over for the opportunity to work with you both. Thank you for your trust, your incredible wedding and of course your friendship. We wish you both a life of love and happiness and we cannot wait to see what life has in store for you both.
