Elk Lake and Beaver Lake are both beautiful and absolutely perfect for engagement sessions, and when we were putting our heads together to determine where we should adventure with Stuart and Danielle, we knew it would be the most incredible location!
Those of you who know us know that any opportunity we have to run around an open field in winter know that the opportunity is welcomed with open arms. Those of you who know us even better know that the Island is special to us and any opportunity to run around documenting beautiful humans is something we just can’t live without. Stuart + Danielle gave us all of the above and we cannot wait to return this coming season to shoot their wedding at the beautiful Hatley Castle!
For their session, we met shortly before the sun started to fall behind the trees. The evening light and the weathered aesthetic of the backdrop made for the most incredible session. We ventured through the field and trees before making our way to the lake as the sun began to set. Their connection is truly everything, and without doubt we know that their wedding will be one for the record books.
